Laura + Maddie – Wedding at Alowyn Gardens

Wisteria season at Alowyn Gardens is something pretty wonderful. Maddie and Laura timed it perfectly, with the archway in full, glorious bloom and that Yarra Valley early spring light filtering through the gardens for their beautiful wedding.

They walked down the aisle to Invisible String by Taylor Swift – fitting for two people who almost crossed paths so many times before finally meeting. Their ceremony was led by Emily Carr who brought her skills to MC their reception later in the evening.

Laura’s custom Isadora Nim suit and Maddie’s Justin Alexander gown from Miss Bella Bridal were brilliant together, modern, timeless and effortlessly cool.

Afterwards, guests gathered in the courtyard for tacos, burgers and grazing by The Taco Truck, Beatbox Kitchen and Big Platter Co, while DJ BmcE (oh my she has skills!) kept the energy high.

Fun and full of friends and giddy joy. This was a good’un.
