Capturing the heart of your brand

brand photography in Melbourne for Poppies for Grace party store small business

Brand photography in Melbourne

People focussed photography coverage for businesses and brands who care.

Step away from stock photography and stiff corporate headshots. I make useful, on-brand images for marketing teams, founders and charities in Melbourne, showing your team, your space and the way you actually work, so that your website, socials and campaigns look consistent and human.

I work with social enterprises and creative, forward-thinking businesses of all sizes. With a background in Communication Design, Web Development and entrepreneurial spaces plus extensive experience in people-focused photography I bring a practical, design-led approach to brand imagery.

In a world increasingly shaped by AI and automation, showing real people doing real work (and real play) goes a long way. Sessions are relaxed, practical and collaborative, and the images are made to be genuinely useful across your website, socials and print.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact me for my rates. I have a standard quoting system based on hourly rates or needs that is simple to understand but can also tailor a quote to suit your needs if your project is a little out of the box,.

Photography does not need to be intimidating. I approach things conversationally and naturally. I do not shoot with extensive lighting setups and aim to keep things authentic to your workplace.

I offer photographic coverage, post production and simple pre-production. Extensive pre-production or logistics only by arrangement. I work with people focussed brands and lifestyle based brand sessions. I do not offer studio-based product photography directly but can source this if required.

I offer reasonable turn arounds, rush options available.

Deliverables depends on your needs, budget and job scope. This might be 100-200 images for an extensive new branding project or a smaller volume session if you only need some hero shots.

I have a network of creatives with different skills, please ask.

Please contact me for more information, licensing fees can be rolled into your service fee if this is simpler to understand. All work subject to signed contracts that will specify usage rights.

Branding Photography Reviews

  • “I engaged Bec for my business branding shoot. Having followed Bec for years on social media, I knew she was the photographer who I could trust to bring my vision to life. Bec has a really easy booking system and a fast turnaround of edited photos. Working with her on the day was a dream. I felt nervous and awkward going into the shoot, but those feelings soon washed away with the care and guidance of Bec. It ended up being a fun session with lots of laughs together with considered photo set-ups. Thanks for my photos Bec, I love them and rave about you to everyone I know!”

  • “I would never have thought I could feel comfortable in front of a camera (especially for branding photos!), but Bec has a way of somehow making it super fun. It’s not cheesy and there’s nothing forced, but she really works her magic to find the best shots, all the lighting and those trade secrets I don’t understand. Not gonna lie – I looked pretty good! Thanks so much Bec!”

This baby turns three tomorrow. This image is one This baby turns three tomorrow. This image is one of my all time favourites. I was chatting about birth photography this week to a photographer who was interested how it all works, (for a while I ran a birth photography business). Although birth is probably my favourite thing to photograph - It is both challenging and incredible and memorable - it is also a logistical pain in the ass that doesn’t work with my life. (Maybe one day it will again)

Also some of the babies I’ve photographed in the past are now like… 10 or older 🤪 which is alarming.

I am doing something birth photography related later this year though… 👀

This shoot is for an new Australian babywear brand for little beginnings made from 100% cotton. We’re keeping our limited collection under wraps for now, but the shoot will have a very natural, warm, and elevated family feel, focusing on genuine moments and connection rather than anything too posed. Think of a get together to celebrate the mum & baby surrounded by parents aunts grandma and little cousins.

As I took my “fun” camera (which is also new to me) … and I am definitely not all over the low light capabilities or limitations rather of the Fuji x100vi just yet but am very pleased with the promist 1/4 filter on the evening light. Also I anyone knows the setting for being able to see through the Fuji when in very low light with a flash attached please enlighten me - I basically had to guess and shoot any of the dinner images blind 🤪 using a little godox it32 flash.
