When I first moved out of home, I lived in a bungalow behind Amelia and Jerome’s house. I was about 20 and Tom (Now 15) was only 3. Neve was definitely not in the picture. I wish now I’d had the courage to chat more with them – I was scared of encroaching on their space – they’re pretty great! So when Amelia got in touch (10 years on, and probably just as many house moves for me) I was thrilled!

We headed out with a game of Finska and had a super relaxed evening wandering with lots of kangaroos and good chats. I really, really love photographing teenagers. It’s a fascinating stage of connection and independence. My hope is that more families would push their idea of family photography past the baby/preschool stage and into later years. These moments are as equally important to document and much harder to catch naturally as a parent. (I actually to see what my kids are like as teenagers… as magic as they are right now. It looks rather fun… but hey, I’m not the one in it!)

“Bec, we just want to say a massive thank you for the amazing photos. The video gallery is superb and encapsulates everything we could have hoped for. Your ability to get the natural look with such breathtaking backdrops is amazing. We will be enjoying these shots for years to come and will certainly employ your services again for any major events or milestones. We will also be letting any family and friends who are looking for a photographer know how pleased we are. My brother has already shown interest in getting his family done! Thanks again, we loved the shoot and can’t be more happy with the resulting shots.”

Regards, Jerome, Amelia, Tom, Tilly and Neve
